Luis Orta is a 2016 Olympic marathoner, a Venezuelan national record holder and the architect behind one of the most impactful platforms in the sport of long-distance running.

As a world-class athlete, Luis traverses the world to train and compete, and to realize his fullest potential as an endurance athlete.  He has competed in over 20 international championships, including 6 World Championships and the Olympic Games. He is a 2:15:35 marathoner and currently holds the Venezuelan National Record in the Half Marathon with a time of 1:03:09 and the Road 10k with a time of 28:39. In total, he has competed in 15 marathons.

Outside of his own running, Luis has built one of the most globally influential coaching platforms in the sport of running, hosting training camps in Kenya, Colombia and Brazil as well as US-based sites in Miami and Boulder. He oversees a training group of over 200 dues-paying members who seek his advice on a year-round basis, and who travel far and wide for his personal instruction.

Luis graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Masters degree in Sports Administration and Coaching, and holds four different coaching certifications and
